A Legal Requirement
PROFESSIONAL COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATES ARE LEGALLY REQUIRED SINCE 2013
Following the introduction of the new Buildings Regulations (SI no 9 and SI no 105 of 2014), it is a legal requirement to get a certificate of compliance in the following situations for individual houses, residential units in multi-unit developments, and extensions. A Certificate of Compliance is required for all new build work and for all alterations, additions or extension work to an existing property to ensure that all works have been carried out in accordance with any Planning Permission granted and the Building Regulations.


How it works
Complete form and pay initial token fee for inspection and recommendations
We assign one of our experienced qualified consultant to inspect, carryout online searches and desk studies.
Draft certificate in line with the Law Society of Ireland standard format and recommendations are issued by email for iterations and acceptance.
Original signed and stamped certificate is sent by post thereafter on receipt of final or agreed payment due.
How much it cost?
A standard Certificate of Compliance with Planning and Building Regulations will cost
€500.00 incl. VAT
This fee covers for onsite visual inspection, measurements, desk study, online searches (if applicable), draft certificate iterations and signed/stamped original certificate of compliance in accordance with the Law Society of Ireland standard format .
Typical works include – attic conversions, internal structural alterations, extensions, works with planning permission and exempt works
